Toolpile

About Toolpile

An independent collection of free, privacy-first web tools.

Who's behind it

Toolpile is built and maintained by Umur Yavuz, a software developer based in Middelburg, Netherlands. Every tool on this site was designed, coded, and tested by a single person β€” not a content farm or AI aggregator. If a tool feels off, you can reach the human who shipped it.

Why it exists

Most "free online tools" sites upload your files to their servers, wrap them in ads, and push you toward paid tiers. Toolpile does the opposite: every tool runs entirely in your browser, nothing leaves your device, and there's no signup to get started.

Principles

  • Privacy by default: no file uploads, no tracking beyond anonymous product analytics.
  • Free for casual use: 3 uses per tool per day without an account; optional Pro for heavier workflows.
  • No installation: works in any modern browser on any device.
  • Transparent: one person builds this. Feedback goes straight to me.

What I am working on

Toolpile is the main project. New tools and editorial pieces ship regularly β€” see the articles page for the latest writing. The roadmap is informal: I add tools when I (or someone who emails me) actually need them.

Get in touch

Bug reports, feature requests, and the occasional "this saved my afternoon" all land in the same inbox. I read everything.

Response time: usually within a day or two. If something is broken in production, mention that β€” I will jump on it.
